Country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India on Monday said it has launched a new variant of its entry-level hatchback S-Presso, priced between Rs 4.25 lakh and Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom price).
The manual variant of the model is priced between Rs 4.25 lakh and Rs 5.49 lakh, while the trims with Automatic Gear Shift (AGS) are priced between Rs 5.65 lakh and Rs 5.99 lakh.
The new S-Presso comes with a 1-litre petrol engine with Idle-Start-Stop technology that delivers fuel efficiency of up to 25.3 kmpl.
“The S-Presso has carved a strong niche for itself with its bold SUV-like design. Within a short span of almost three years, we have sold over 2,02,500 units of the S-Presso, a strong testament that it has created a stir. made a mess
Right note with customers,” Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director (Sales and Marketing), Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said in a statement.
The new S-Presso with the refined 1.0 K-series engine, will offer an immersive driving experience to the customers with enhanced fuel-efficiency and additional features, he added.
The auto major said that the model comes with various safety features like dual airbags, high-speed alert system, reverse parking sensor standard across all variants and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with hill hold assist in the AGS variant.
