Adani Group-backed FMCG firm, Adani Wilmar on Monday announced reduction in cooking oil prices 30 per liter due to fall in global prices. The announcement comes after the Food Ministry directed edible oil companies to pass on the benefits of the fall in global cooking oil prices to customers.

Angshu Malik, MD & CEO, Adani Wilmar said, “We have passed on the benefit of reduction in global prices to our consumers and the newly priced stocks will hit the market soon.”

He said that the products would be available to the customers at a lower cost. This move will surely boost the demand for the upcoming festive season.

The company’s statement noted that in the government’s effort to pass on the benefits of global price reduction and reduction in edible oil prices to consumers, Adani Wilmar has further reduced edible oil prices from last month’s cut by the company. is of.

Earlier on February 7, Mother Dairy, which sells edible oils under the Dhara brand, had reduced the prices of soybean and rice bran oil at least. 14 per litre.
