After reaching Jamui, CM Nitish Kumar remembered his companion Narendra Singh, paid tribute

Jamui. After voting for the presidential election, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Jamui by road after covering a distance of 175 km from Patna. From there he reached Pakri village and paid tribute to his cabinet minister Sumit Kumar Singh’s father and former minister Narendra Singh. Ministers Vijay Chaudhary and Ashok Chaudhary were also present with the CM. The CM paid tribute by garlanding the picture of the former minister. Before leaving for Patna, the CM remembered Narendra Singh and said that the contact between him and Narendra Singh is very old. We kept in touch since the time of Patna University and Jai Prakash movement. His father was a socialist leader. I was friends with Narendra Singh, we have worked with him. When his health was bad, he used to talk to his boy regularly, he is very sorry for his no more.

CM said that he had no such age, he left. He will be remembered for the work he has done for everyone. His passing is a great loss for us. We thought that his health was bad, he will be fine. But they left us and left.

Narendra Singh, who was a minister in Nitish Kumar’s cabinet, played a big role in forming his government. Then in 2005, Narendra Singh had supported Nitish Kumar by rebelling against the Lok Janshakti Party for many MLAs. For the past few years, Narendra Singh was opposing the policies of Nitish Kumar. Although many times his works were also appreciated. Narendra Singh may have been angry with Nitish Kumar for the last few years, but in 2020, when his son Sumit Kumar Singh became an independent MLA from Chakai, he gave his support to Nitish Kumar. Sumit Kumar Singh is the Minister of Science and Technology in Nitish Kumar’s cabinet.
