Ather Energy has launched three new electric scooters, out of which one 450S and two 450X models are scooters with different battery packs and features. The Ather 450S is priced at Rs 1,29,999 while the 450X with 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh batteries costs Rs 1,38,000 and Rs 1,44,921 respectively. All prices are ex-showroom prices in Bengaluru. Ather 450S Details:
The new 450S scooter comes with a 2.9kWh battery pack, which offers an IDC range of 115 km. This scooter can achieve 0-40 speed in 3.9 seconds. Its top speed is 90 kmph. It takes 8 hours 36 minutes to get fully charged. The 450S is equipped with a new 7.0-inch DeepView display.
Ather 450X (2.9kWh) Range and Charging Time:
This e-scooter comes with 2.9kWh battery pack and 5.4kW motor. This setup offers a range of 115 km on a single full charge. Its top speed is 90 kmph. Its battery pack can be charged in 8 hours 36 minutes. This variant gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen instead of the DeepView display.
Ather 450X (3.7kWh) Range and Charging Time:
With a massive battery pack and a 6.4kW electric motor, the scooter offers a range of 150 km. This variant can be charged in 5 hours and 45 minutes. Its top speed is the same as the 450S and 450X (2.9kWh), which is 90 kmph. It is also equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen unit.
Features of Ather 450S & 450X:
All three scooters share many common features, such as telescopic front forks and mono-shock suspension units have been used in all three. There are disc brakes at the front and rear. A combined and regenerative braking system has been given in all. These models ride on 12-inch alloy wheels shod in 90/90 front and 100/80 rear tubeless tires.
