In June 2023, Maruti Suzuki has been the company selling the most cars. In terms of total car sales, Hyundai is at number two and Tata at third. At the same time, Maruti Suzuki WagonR has been the best-selling car, it has left behind everyone, including Tata Nexon and Hyundai Creta.
The WagonR has been on sale in the country for almost two decades now. During this, a lot has been updated from its design to its features. It offers good performance and mileage at an affordable price. Its price is between Rs 5.51 lakh to Rs 7.30 lakh (ex-showroom). It gives a mileage of up to 34.05km/kg on CNG.
Engine and Features of WagonR:
Maruti WagonR comes in two engine options – 1-liter petrol and 1.2-liter petrol. It gets both manual and automatic transmission options. CNG variants also come but only manual transmission is available with CNG. It comes with features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a touchscreen infotainment system (7-inch), 4 speakers, electrically operated ORVMs, dual front airbags (standard), rear parking sensors, and hill hold assist.
