Now many banks are providing banking facilities through WhatsApp. Meanwhile, the country’s largest bank State Bank of India has also started the facility of WhatsApp banking. Now you can take advantage of many services including bank balance and mini statement information through chat on SBI’s WhatsApp number.
Step 1- Registration is required for SBI WhatsApp Banking
To get any service under SBI WhatsApp Banking, you have to first register. For this, you have to type WAREG, then write your account number by giving space and send SMS to 7208933148. It is very easy to send this message, see its format – WAREG

After successfully registering for SBI WhatsApp Banking, your WhatsApp number will automatically receive a message from SBI’s number 90226 90226. Apart from this, you can also save this number.
Step 2- Start chatting
Now type Hi or Hi SBI. After this this message will come from SBI-

Welcome to SBI Whatsapp Banking Services!
Please choose from any of the options below.
1. Account Balance
2. Mini Statement
3. De-register from WhatsApp Banking
You may also type your query to get started.
Step 3- Now by typing 1 on your part, the bank balance information will be given, while typing 2 will give information about the mini statement of the last 5 transactions.
