Mufassil police in Buxar detained a German Shepherd female dog for allegedly violating the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act by the owners.

On July 6, when the police stopped an SUV coming from Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh for checking, six bottles of IMFL were found in the car.

Two people were arrested in an inebriated state and produced in a special court under excise laws. According to the report, the vehicle was also seized under Section 57 of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act.

Along with this, the police have also seized an animal found in the vehicle under section 56(2).

According to the Free Press Journal, the animal is currently at the Mufassil police station. One of the inspectors revealed that keeping such dogs is expensive. Also, the dog only understands instructions in English, so they had to enlist the help of local English-knowing youth to instruct him.
