Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married in Las Vegas: Reports

Singer Jennifer Lopez and actor Ben Affleck have married in Las Vegas, media reported on Sunday, nearly 20 years after the celebrity couple first reunited.

According to People Magazine, the couple announced their wedding in a Lopez newspaper, revealing that they went to the desert town of Nevada to obtain a marriage license and married in a chapel late Saturday.

“Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out that love is patient. Twenty years of patience. Exactly what we wanted,” Lopez told the newspaper, the outlet reported.

The newspaper was signed “Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck,” the Los Angeles Times reported, indicating a name change for the award-winning entertainer.

A rep for Affleck could not immediately be reached for comment. Calls to the Creative Artists Agency, Lopez’s talent agency, went unanswered.

A marriage license was obtained in her name from Clark County on Saturday, July 16, according to document details posted online by the county clerk’s office.

Lopez posted a photo on social media depicting her on a bed wearing a silver wedding ring.

Affleck and Lopez, a glamorous couple widely known as “Bennifer,” got back together last year after nearly 20 years. They got engaged in April this year.

In 2002, Affleck gave Lopez a large 6.1-carat pink diamond engagement ring, but they abruptly called off their wedding in 2003 and separated a few months later.
