Modified Maruti Jimny: The 5-door version of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny has been launched in India for the first time. Only its 3-door version is available in the international markets but a 5-door version of the Jimny has been brought in India, which is getting good response from the customers. Body kit makers have also developed several kits for the Jimny, one of which is popular – the mini Mercedes Benz G63 AMG SUV.
Now a completely modified Maruti Suzuki Jimny like the G-Wagon has been shared on Instagram by the name of Rajeev Srihari. The shared videos and pictures show the Jimny’s front end getting a drastic change, which includes G-Wagon inspired bumper, grille, bonnet, fenders, wheel arches and special all-LED headlights. These modifications have given it the commanding look of the G-Wagon.
The side profile also attracts attention, with large alloy wheels, body colored trapezoidal wheel arches, side skirts and roof mounted LED lights further adding to the bold look. The rear gets a G-Wagon-like bumper, where the LED tail lamps with its iconic design have been added.
Notably, the stock Maruti Suzuki Jimny comes with only one powertrain option – the 1.5-litre four-cylinder NA petrol engine option, which is offered with a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic transmission option. This engine gives 104.8 PS power and 134.2 Nm torque output.
The manual version is capable of delivering a mileage of 16.94 kmpl while the automatic version is capable of delivering up to 16.39 kmpl. Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro four-wheel-drive system is offered as standard across all variants.
