Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said all preparations have been completed for the upcoming ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program on the occasion of 75th Independence Day next month and 3.18 crore tricolors will be unfurled across the state.
Participating in a video conference with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy regarding the program under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the Chief Minister said that the state government has decided to schedule the program between August 13. You have completed your preparation. and 15 August as part of the ‘Independence Week’ celebrations from 11 to 17 August.
According to an official spokesperson, Yogi Adityanath said that a total of 3.18 tricolors will be hoisted in the state.
Of these, 2.68 crore are to be hoisted at homes and 50 lakh in government, non-government offices and other commercial institutions in the state.
In addition, a song titled ‘Jaighosh’ has also been composed, he said, adding that the flag would be sent to all district headquarters by July 31.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister said that tricolor distribution centers would also be set up at every school, primary health center and Anganwadi centers in the state.
YpgoAdityanath said that the process of procurement of flags is being done by the cottage, small and medium industries department of the state.
Over 1.18 crore flags are being made in the state through self-help groups, NGOs and private tailoring centres.
