mp bus accident On Monday, 12 passengers were killed when a Maharashtra Roadways bus fell from Khalghat Sanjay Setu in Madhya Pradesh. According to the information, the incident is being reported from Dhar district of the state.
Commenting on the bus accident, Madhya Pradesh Minister Narottam Mishra said that the bus was on its way from Indore to Pune at the time of the incident.
A total of 15 people have been rescued from the accident site so far.
Visuals shared by news agency ANI showed locals gathering at the MP bus accident site.
Earlier on Friday, a passenger was killed and 30 others were injured when a private bus overturned and fell into a gorge in Chitrakoot’s Rajpur area of Uttar Pradesh.
Circle Officer (CO) of the area Shivprakash Sonkar said that the bus overturned near Kuseli village and fell into the gorge.
“One passenger of the bus died. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. 30 other passengers on the bus sustained injuries,” the CO said.
30 injured were admitted to the hospital where the condition of eight is stated to be critical.
