Finally, after a long wait, Realme has launched Realme X50 5G. The smartphone has first to launch with Realme UI. Previously Realme using Color OS which is owned by its parent company Oppo.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 765G SoC which supports dual-mode 5G, it has been packed with 64-megapixel quad-camera at back. The fingerprint sensor is located at the side of the smartphone, for power supply pone is bundled with a huge 4,200mAh battery which also supports the VOOC Flash Charge 4.0.
Talking about cameras the smartphone comes with a quad-camera setup at the rear side. The main sensor is 64- megapixel which is made by Samsung. It has an aperture size of f/1.8 and supports PDAF autofocus. The second camera contains an a12-megapixel telephoto sensor which has f/3.0 aperture size and supports 2X optical zoom. The third camera is an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor that can capture photos at 119-degree and the fourth camera is depth sensor has an aperture size of f/2.4.
The front panel of Realme X50 5G has a punch hole in which Realme managed to put two dual cameras. The main camera is a 16-megapixel sensor and the secondary 8-megapixel camera is a wide-angle sensor for taking wider selfies.
There is no Optical Image Stabilization(OIS) has provided in both rear and front camera but both cameras are equipped with a gyro-EIS for balancing the shakes for videos only.
Processor and Memory:
The REalme X50 5G has launched with 3 memory combinations. The base model has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internals and the other models are of 8 GB RAM/256 GB. The pricing of the device begins 2,499 CNY for the 6 GB model. There is no dedicated slot for memory expansion.
However, the company has introduced a master edition on this list. The master edition has a big 12 Gb of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. which is priced at 3099 CNY.
The Processor embed in this smartphone is Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G which made on the 7nm design. The processor is said to battery efficient. and it manages to support the dual-mode 5G which is the main highlight of the processor.
Battery and Display:
The Realme X50 5G is powered by a huge Non-removable Li-Po 4200 mAh battery which supports VOOC Flash Charge 4.0, which means it can charge the battery to 70% in just 30 minutes.
The phone has 6.57 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a 20:9 aspect rato. Though the display is an IPS panel that’s why the company placed the fingerprint sensor in the sidebar of the device.
Connectivity and Other Features:
The connectivity options include are Wi-Fi 802.11, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band GPS, Type-C 1.0 port for fast charging.
