Nagpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said that India is an ‘immortal’ nation with unparalleled morality, which brings peace everywhere and keeps every country in the world united. We have the essence of ‘Dharmatattva’… We have the spirit of virtue, which ensures that people become good and do not give birth to the likes of Ravana or Hitler.

Bhagwat was speaking at a religious discourse program at a temple in Maharashtra here on Monday. Quoting Swami Vivekananda, Bhagwat said that every nation has a specific purpose. The nation rises and prospers to fulfill that specific purpose. Then it becomes history and withers away like the Roman Empire. But the purpose of our nation is such that it is immortal. We have the essence of ‘Dharmatattva’ (ethics) which balances the life of all in the world, brings peace and unites all.

He said that India has the unique ‘Dhartva’ which keeps people, groups and nature in a proper way with human development without harming the environment. He said that the spirit of virtue ensures that people become good and do not give birth to the likes of Ravana or Hitler.
