Wisden has declared five-player names along with Virat Kohli are Former Australian captain Steven Smith, South African pacer Dale Steyn, Former Proteas skipper AB de Villiers and Australian sportswoman Elise Perry.
Virat Kohli is exceptional in his current form. He has an average of 54.98 in Test cricket and 59.84 average in ODI cricket. This is what makes him one of the best batsmen in the world. Currently, he holds number one position in ODI rankings as well as in Test rankings. He is also the highest run-getter in the calendar year 2019.
